Our history:
The vineyard was established by Count Jean-Pierre de Montalivet, Minister of the Interior of Napoleon.
Destroyed by phylloxera around 1880, it was then replanted by his grandson, Baron Arthur de Chabaud la Tour.

Today:
Count and Countess Georges de Choulot de Chabaud la Tour (6th generation) are the present owners and managers of domaine de Château de Thauvenay.
Both the vineyard and the cellar are operated by a qualified team of professionals, always maintaining great respect for our "terroir".
